Nobody in Twister Alley gets to question my decision to live in a state with hurricane concerns.

 

I got some crazy jacked up thunder/lightning and rain off this thing about 5-6 a.m., but no real wind.

 

Still here. Only eight more weeks to go.

 

And then we get ready to start hurricane season!

 

I have a brand new roof (albeit a still-unresolved insurance dispute).

Bring it on.

 

I live in Little Rock .... The tornadoes missed my apartment by about 8 miles. I was coming home from Kansas City (went to Opening Day) and missed the worst of it.
The exit before mine was completely blocked coming home.
I've shopped multiple times in the shopping center that got destroyed.
The damage is a smaller scale of what I saw in Florida from Hurricane Andrew in 1992

 

One more hurricane season before we move to DC

 

I'm hoping I've got another good 30 or so left in me. The reward is worth the risk.
