Better yet, take it to 1, throw the ball as high as you can, hoping it stays inbounds. Everyone would jump up to try to catch it, there might be two seconds left when some gets control. Or take it to 1 and shoot a total rainbow 3. Same outcome.

Imagining Steph Curry flinging a ball forty feet in the air and it going straight through the net as the buzzer goes off.

It probably has to be a plausible attempt at a basket. If you throw it straight up in the air from 30 feet out, the expiration of the shot clock stands and the game clock halts. Throw it high but in the direction and the approximate distance of the basket and you've got a chance.

Will Rob Manfred please institute a pitch clock?

Amused to see people on Twitter whining that UConn hasn't played a No. 1 or No. 2 seed yet. The argument tends to lose steam when you look at the scores of the games.

Yep, Teddy Leitner. That sounds like him in a nutshell.

The Virginia Cavaliers would like to attend your coaching clinic.

Kept waiting for him to call them "my Aztecs," or is that just a baseball thing?

Brian Dutcher almost seems too nice to be this good of a coach.

He looks like he just did a leveraged buyout of Cobra Kai, which only adds to the incongruity. I wanted to hate him after they beat Bama, but no such luck.
