    I do hope that Georgia brings a case against him. An actual substantive case. I won't be celebrating, or saying things like it's a good day for the country, but I do want Trump to be held accountable.

    The arrest of any president after all these years of the Republic is a sad occasion.
    The arrest of this former president was greatly past due, but it’s still a sad thing.

    Trump is going to win this case. And he actually should.

    1) It's not illegal to pay someone hush money.
    2) The falsifying business records is only a felony if it is furtherance of a crime. Putting aside that campaign finance laws themselves are ridiculous. ... all Trump needs to create reasonable doubt about his intent is. ... "He didn't want his wife to be hurt with stories about him banging porn stars, so he decided to squash it. It had nothing to do with the election."
