THIS IS CNN: Don Lemon goes berserker on Kaitlan Collins

Still blows my mind that CNN took the chucklefuck we mocked on this very board in 2008 (when he melted down trying to cover the Georgia Dome tornado) and decided to make him Swinging Dick No. 1 for the whole network.

 

Dude, CNN thought Rick Sanchez was a good idea.

 

That was such a weak-ass defense of Lemon by CNN - the skids are greased. I don't know what his next thing is - but he might want to start planning his next career move. I'd be stunned if he gets another contract from CNN.

 

And Rick Santorum.

 

Abby's getting some primetime play. Don's gonna be pissed.

 

Lemon seems like he'd rather be hosting a talk show than doing the news. I get the sense he likes being on TV more than he does journalism - at least he comes off that way. I do wonder what his Q scores or whatever they use these days are like - I've known of very credible journos getting bounced from an anchor gig when one key demo or another sours on them. Particulary women anchors who don't connect with women viewers for whatever reason.
