LeBeouf tanked his own career with weird behavior, IIRC, in a way not seen since Crispin Glover. Or in present day, probably, Ezra Miller.

    See also, Lohan, Lindsey.

Was it here that we suggested Emma Stone "inherited" Lohan's career? And Miles Teller did the same with Shia"s?

Thought the same when River Phoenix died, and then Christian Slater's career took off.

Since he tanked it, he's done his best work in some of the better movies he's ever been in. Pieces of a Woman is a good movie, if almost unbearable in the first 30 minutes. So is Honey Boy. (Good, that is.)

LeBeouf was more of an asshole than weird like Crispin Glover.

Phoebe! Dr. Jones! Yes, I think there is a distinction between Doctor Henry Jones and Indiana Jones and this looks like it bridges the two nicely.

One nitpick: If PWB's character is an archaeologist, she should have used another word when they were talking about the theft of the dial.

Also very excited to see a new Wes Anderson film is coming out.

Beetlejuice 2 is in production. Tim Burton directs Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Michael Keaton, Willem Dafoe, Winona Ryder. Scheduled to release in September, 2024.

    OK.

Instead of screwing around with Jared Leto, once WB/DC decided to go with an older version of Batman with Affleck, I thought they should have just signed up Keaton to play the Joker, and told him to do Beetlejuice only nastier.

Didn't want to post a thread to freak people out - but I have no clue what's going on with Jamie Foxx. A stroke? Drug OD? I respect the guy's privacy and all, but a sudden medical emergency usually doesn't require this long a stay in a hospital. Figure a foto with a "thumbs up" would have been posted on social media by now.

I get the sense he had a stroke of a debilitating and soon to be fatal nature.
