Could you imagine what she’d write if she didn’t get credentials?

I mean, I get it. I've bitched for years on here about delayed Olympics coverage. We're used to around-the-clock coverage of the other majors. Augusta marches to its own drumbeat.

Today's featured groups is a complete joke. Show the damn tuuuuuurnament.

Augusta had to go kicking and screaming just to get a 2 p.m. start on Sunday. Be thankful we had morning coverage on Saturday and will get it on Sunday.

But it's their broadcast. CBS and ESPN pay exactly $0 to air the Masters. In exchange, the green coats have complete control of the broadcast. Ridley and Co. need to catch up, but they won't. Not at the point of a bayonet.

Oh, it made a sound. Fortunately, no one was killed or injured.

The sound it makes will be Christine Brennan criticizing Augusta National.

I'd have figured it was muscle memory by now.

These are the people who held out until 1993 to show the front nine because they felt doing so would water down viewership

And the majority of people don't know that. Pre-empting a canned special on the Latin America Amateur to show, ya know, a weather-messed Masters, would seem like a logical move, but ANGC controls all and this is the same operation that ordered piped-in bird sounds.

Though at the same time the streaming experience is unreal, you can watch every shot online and the broadcast's commercial breaks are barely enough time for a whizz and refresh on snacks. Are we not mostly blessed already?

I thought the Masters was on ESPN this morning. My bad.

Looks like a two-horse race for the last 28 holes.
