Only because Koepka doesn’t know how to play 72 holes anymore. Rahm has double perspective though. I think he has the two toughest majors out of the way. Best chance of anyone to get the slam because Rory’s never winning at Augusta.

    It's fucking Nantz.

"If you remember, Seve chipped in for par on 18, 40 years ago."

    For fuck's sake, Jim.

You think anyone has the balls to ask that question? In Augusta?

Slightly curious that CBS didn’t interview Phil after his strong final round. Wondering if Phil blew off CBS or vise versa.

He clearly talked to the media … ESPN.com had a story with plenty of Phil quotes online a while ago.

I'd lay pretty good money that CBS never extended the request.

The US Open or The Masters is never boring, no matter the lead, because the leader is also playing pressure and difficulty that other tournaments don’t have.

Telling you man, I’d have gladly kept him on college basketball and found someone else for golf. His reverential tones are over the top.

So who is the "announcer-in-waiting" for The Masters? Figure the Lords of Augusta would have to approve. Is there anyone under 50 being primed?

    If so, that’s kinda bullshit.

Come on, per Bill Paxton "I don't know if you've been keeping track of current events" but the people who dictate that "patrons" but not "fans" is to be used and who banned "bikini wax" absolutely LOVE Nantz' schmaltzy and reverential tones. Its a match made in heaven for them. They want the "stately" tournament, as high brow as you can get.

Spieth has now finished in the top five in six of his 10 Masters starts.
