    People are talking about T(w)itter.

This is the same Elon Musk as always.

Any PR is good PR. What he doesn't understand is that has never been the source of his monetary success. Absent distorted debt markets driving speculative bubbles and creating stock market millionaires who will mindlessly buy $70,000 status symbols. ... he's just a clown who people increasingly hate. He's clueless.

Yup. The cost of the paint and the labor might have been just enough for him to actually provide toilet paper inside so his employees didn't have to bring their own.

Life isn’t fair and it’ll never be fair, but it still angers me to see schmucks like this take advantage of the “free market” (no market is ever truly free) just because there are no serious repercussions for being a schmuck. In all likelihood he’ll never need to declare personal bankruptcy, unlike some of the people who will go down with the ship at Twitter. He has more in common with Kyle Rittenhouse than anyone else who’s gotten “rich” off cheap money.

    And LOL.

Also, the guy who owns Twitter used Signal for messaging?

That seems like really small potatoes to go scorched earth on Taibbi, too. Taibbi didn’t do anything wrong, other than state the obvious re: Twitter and Substack. Not sure you need to go to DEFCON 5 over it.
