Typical republicans. Never address the actual problem because...well, because this is what they always do, and we know all the reasons.

Here's what would likely happen if some sort of armed guard thing at schools happened everywhere in the country - over time, the gun nuts would find elsewhere to kill people with their weapons of war. Fast food restaurants. Doctors offices. High school football games. Et cetera. Et cetera. Et cetera.

Maybe parades, or outdoor concerts, or even nightclubs, or power stations, or...oh, wait.

Someday someone is going to shoot up a long line in a blue district on election day.

I can’t remember the last time I actually set foot in a physical bank.

Just saying it probably stands to reason that banks did away with armed guards around the time it stopped being a necessity to physically go there.

And once their insurers said it was cheaper to let the FBI catch the bad guys than risk lawsuits from a guard accidentally shooting a bystander.

I’ve got to believe armed robbery — or any form of robbery — has fallen in an increasingly cashless retail economy. Aside from banks and marijuana dispensaries, what business has cash?

Good thing that kind of stuff would never happen in a school.

Cruz is just such a dishonest prick. Refuses to discuss a single thing about the supply or access to guns and constantly blames Democrats for politicizing shootings, for not insisting that the solution should be stronger doors or schools with teachers and guards armed to the teeth. He’s a performative asshole.

Casinos. Some old-school food places here are cash only.

Actually robbing a bank for cash is about a 8.5 on the stupid scale.
The amount of cash you'd actually take isn't proportional to the fact that you will be caught.
