Do not like the font. Do not like the number in a diamond. Do not like the two-tone helmet. Do not like the red name playing off the blue number on the back. Why is there ANY blue presence on this uniform?

Along those lines, why is there any red presence in the Dodgers' uniforms?

But that red number looks so sweet.

 

Red numbers go all the way back to Brooklyn. No idea why. But an all-time great uniform.

 

Tigers take a 3-0 lead in Toronto only to lose 9-3 and Matt Manning breaks a metatarsal bone in his foot on a comebacker. That's after getting swept at home by a beat-up and bad Boston team. Kill me now.

 

Only the Cubs can fall behind 7-0 in the second inning, come back with eight in the third, win 14-9, and fans liie me can feel like the season is ending because Swanson left early.

The early word is OK, so I'm hopeful to be able to sleep tonight.

To be fairs, I've only ever heard the term used in hockey.

Given the corporate greed of Nike, Fanatics and the teams, I'm shocked that every team doesn't have a "Throwback Thursday" alternate. The Phillies introduced powder blues a couple of years ago that they wear on Thursdays and they've been a huge hit. Bring back pants with elastics waistbands too. half of these guys are already wearing them like pajama pants so what difference does it make?
