The Dodgers' home unis are the best in baseball.

If true, this provides some clarity about the explosion of mid- to high-90s pitchers today.

    Astros, maybe not.

Didn't the Phillies wear powder blues back in the 1970s and 1980s too? Just checked it out, they did on the road throughout that era.

This must be a symptom of not growing up in a hockey-enthusiastic area. It weirdly makes sense for hockey but I will fight anyone who wants to bring it to baseball *

    *not really.

They wore them occasionally last season for the City Connect program.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but I think those unis are pretty sharp.

I loved those uniforms, even though Houston wore them both home and away. Much better than today, which looks like an adaptation of the 1962 Houston Colt .45s road gear.

    What is this sweeper pitch?

Every time I look at the live play-by-play of games I see sweeper, sweeper, sweeper for the pitch.

Did someone just invent this? Are they calling curves sweepers now? Is this what all the cool kids are saying these days??
