2023 college baseball/softball thread

I liked it better when it was the Civli War Series.

 

Instead of letting the kids run the bases after the game, maybe they can have a spelling bee.

 

The scoreboard guy got his start helping his great uncle paint end zones:

 

"Rivlary Series" is certainly unique.

 

Yeah, now Michigan and Michigan State need to start the FrankLary Series.

 

The at sign in that font is horrific.

 

Nothing to add, other than that's a long damn home run.

 

Florida's pitcher got an inning-ending strikeout against Georgia, celebrated by flexing as he was coming off the mound, and was ejected for some reason.
The next inning, Jac Caglianone (the national leader in home runs) hit a grand slam and did this as he was coming to home plate. The rest of his trot was normal.

 

not just an inning ending k but one in the 8th inning with the bases loaded and a 6-4 lead

 

Southern Miss' Twitter account coming off the top rope. Slade Wilks hit three home runs and drove in 11 runs in the last two games of the series against James Madison.

 

All I can say about this season is when does football begin?
