Not bad. Should be an interesting dynamic with Kamala going full fangirl on Captain Marvel while Monica Rambeau has a somewhat-unexplained grudge against her. (It was referenced in WandaVision, but not really explained. Maybe she's just mad that Carol wasn't around when her mother was sick)

I wanna see it used for something related to Nova, either a movie or a Disney+ show. Could be an awesome opening scene or flashback.

Agreed, but if they use too much, it deflects the focus from the protagonist. I'd love to see the entire sequence, but if it really is 45 minutes, that just isn't going to work for a Nova movie or show. Then again, Disney+ did have two-plus episodes of Din Djarin stories in The Book of Boba Fett, so who the hell knows?

I didn't realize the whole 45 minutes was that sequence until after I read the article. They'd definitely need to trim it down to 30 minutes at most. Maybe they could release it as a Disney+ prequel to a Nova movie/show, then just have the last few minutes replayed in the actual show or movie. I mean, they do prequel comics, why not a prequel episode for a show?

I've been ducking the thread for fear of spoilers, but I was curious to see what people thought. We are waiting until my daughter is home from college to see it. I've heard good things so far.

Not much to spoil. Enjoyable movie. Cool fight scene in a hallway. Plenty of focus on Rocket’s backstory . High Evolutionary is an excellent villain. Dave Bautista great as Drax again, with probably the best one-liners. The awwwwwwwww factor really pumped up.

I figured they would be going for the feels with this being James Gunn's farewell to the characters. He also got some of his guys in there. He had worked with Chukwudi Iwuji before on Peacemaker, and I thought he would be good as the High Evolutionary. At least one cameo has long since been spoiled, another of Gunn's favorites.
