Seems odd to run an ad that way, basically saying, "Three-fifths of Americans don't trust us! Were the best!"

And of those who "trust" Faux Fascist Noise, the large majority knows it's complete propaganda bullshit but is fine with it

Nine out of 10 racists who started a fake university as a scam prefer our network to every other. Fox News. We Lie. You decide to believe us.

House Judiciary Committee doing the important work of being Trump’s official PR arm by holding a hearing in Manhattan today to discuss crime here.

“Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury. Fox News says that no reasonable person can believe the bullshit that they shriek about on a daily basis. However, this ad in the New York Times indicates that 41 percent trust Fox News more than ever. So it sure sounds like a lot of their viewers either believe Fox News’ bullshit or are stupid rubes. Therefore, thanks to this ad, we’re going to ask for 41 percent additional on top of the $1.6 billion that we’re already requesting …”

Actually, IIRC, more than half the messages to that “hotline” were about special-education services being denied to students. Which is a real and devastating issue in VA.

But you can’t own any libs by addressing that, so they shut the “hotline” down.

I know this is an issue you understand well. It's an issue in most districts in most states, if not all, but I love that parents used the hotline for something that was actually important.

Just to swing back to this real quick, I personally don’t feel like “Rockefeller Republican” is any more relevant to politics in the 2020s than Dixiecrat, Bull Moose or Whig. That era is gone, gone, gone.

Obama to me had progressive ideals but was an institutionalist and incrementalist. There were deals to be cut for Republicans in Congress but they couldn’t take full advantage because their base voters were utterly repulsed by the idea of a black President and demanded complete contempt at all times.
