    Strange. Meatball Ron said in the press conference that it's the will of the people that he go after Disney since he won Central Florida by record margins.
    But according to every reputable poll, it's the will of the people in Florida to have sensible gun laws and it's the will of the people that DeSantis' six-week abortion law is excessive.
    Does the will of the people only matter if it fits your narrative?
    Okay, silly question.

    Also, it was Disney officials complaining AFTER the Don't Say Gay law passed. In other words, Ron could have just said, "scoreboard," and moved on.
    In the meantime, Broward County is under water and gas stations have run out. Property insurance is at crisis proportions in Florida and people still have blue tarps over their homes in Fort Myers.
    But tell us more about "Woke Disney."
    It takes a lot of work to make Trump look like the most sane Florida Man but DeSantis is getting there.

    The shit Desantis is blustering about would take decades to do. He’ll be long gone and all of it will be forgotten. Nothing but hot air out his punctured balloon.

    He was completely defeated and humiliated by Disney and he knows it. Fucking fantastic.

    He’s a fucking lightweight and won’t play nationally. At least not at this point.

    That story is talking about transfers of hundreds of billions of dollars that the government is creating massive debt to enable, going to large corporations for projects that don't work without massive subsidies.

    We're all on the hook for that debt. ... which gets magnified to do even more harm to all of us, because it uses the government's coercive power to divert capital away from the way more productive future uses it would have found with hundreds of millions of people making decisions for themselves and bearing the cost for simply putting their own capital at risk when they don't make smart choices.

    Beyond the subsidization (which we're all on the hook for, plus the interest that will accrue on it) we'll never know what those "new projects" cost us in the more economically productive uses that money won't see.

    All of that might be great news for President Biden. Who knows what qualifies as good news for him.

    Unfortunately it comes at the expense of all of us and at the expense of the long-term health of the country.
