Soooooooo, now Cocaine Mitch has moved on from blocking Presidential appointments to being able to block committee assignments even though his side isn't in charge? I hope he gets rectal cancer.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said that Republicans would block an effort by Democrats to replace ailing California Sen. Dianne Feinstein on the Senate Judiciary Committee temporarily as she recovers from shingles at home.
McConnell said the bulk of President Biden's judicial nominees have bipartisan support and replacing Feinstein would allow Democrats to approve nominees he labeled "unqualified."
"So let's be clear: Senate Republicans will not take part in sidelining a temporary absent colleague off a committee just so Democrats can force through their very worst nominees," McConnell said Tuesday.

 

I'd love to see what they feel are unqualified and the very worst nominees

 

There are 17 district nominations being held up -- seven are Black, one is Asian, one is Hispanic, seven are women

There are three appeals nominations -- two of them are Hispanic women

There is a court of federal claims nominee -- she is a woman


Also, there are three judges awaiting confirmation by the Senate who have been waiting since 2021 and one since Jan. 22. Let's go people

 

So, obviously Republicans feel they are unqualified.
