BTW. ... The liability from the lies doesn't end with this law suit. Fox Corp. shareholders (who aren't going to be happy about $787.5 million out of their collective pockets) are demanding company records in a likely prelude to a lawsuit.

Fox is reporting on it now
Didn’t think Neal Cavuto would ignore it
Howard Kurtz, who turned out to be a major disappointment, is reporting

Hoping the deal includes mea culpas. Because it's not about the money here.

Tapper is losing it on the air. Almost Steineresque.

I would have been petty and been like -- 1 billion take it or leave it

Probably a bit lower since it probably comes with an on-air apology.

FYI, Fox pays the NFL $2.05 billion a year.

    It's not about the money?

People are untethered from the reality about how much money this is. ... for a company that little.

It's certainly about the money for the owners of Dominion. They own a company that has revenues of well under $20 MILLION a year.

That settlement is almost 10x what the owners of Dominion paid for the company just 5 years ago.

Of course it is about the money here. That is a lot of money, even for the Murdochs, and it's a massive dollar amount in damages relative to the business Dominion has ever done.

    Not surprised
Never thought it would get to trial

A Smartmatic spokesman said in a statement: “Dominion’s litigation exposed some of the misconduct and damage caused by Fox’s disinformation campaign. Smartmatic will expose the rest.”

That’s nice. When is the next time they are going to sell a voting machine to a jurisdiction where a Republican majority has to approve?

They could have operated for the equivalent of another lifetime of the owners of the company and not have earned anywhere near $787.5 million.

Seems like a pretty cheap price for a major role in trying to overthrow the government.
