Parents should clean up after their kids. A single parent flying with multiple kids get a pass. A PREGNANT single parent flying with multiple kids definitely gets s pass. Kinda wish a Good Samaritan had been around to help her.

 

The A’s could lose 120 games this year, maybe even more.

MLB to test more rule changes in Atlantic League

I like the designated runner and step off rule, but removing a team’s dh when the starter doesnt go five innings is unduly onerous.

Well, that sucks. The Rayes finally put Jeffrey Springs on the IL today, and a couple of hours later it comes out he needs TJ surgery. The guy really looked great before the injury.

 

This might be recency bias, but has anyone has more TJ issues than the Rays?

I think all these guys have been injured since the pandemic season. Again, I know the surgery is done all the time, and maybe I'm thinking the Rays are more prone to it b/c they are a high-profile team (at least in terms of success). But that's basically an entire rotation and two really good relievers felled by elbow injuries in the last three years.

 

I actually think this would be a great investigation for Marc Topkin and the Tampa Bay Times. There’s gotta be more to this than bad luck.
