Dodgers have nothing against Drew Smyly through six. He's around 80 pitches and is up 12-0.

He may need to be more economical. He's at 80 pitches through six innings. A 120-pitch pace. Big number in April. I think Smyly has had TJ surgery as well.

93 pitches, six outs to go. It'll be touch-and-go.

It's over on a swinging bunt where Smyly and his catcher collided. Lousy luck.

You gotta be kidding. Broken up on a broken-bat baseline bleeder collision?

I don’t know if either one would have thrown the guy out anyway.

Smyly's up to 10 Ks through 7.2. So he wasn't doing it with mirrors. He's being pulled now, though.

Smyly has two pitches: a 90 mph or so sinker and a 77 mph knuckle curve. Just looking through the StatCast, he had great movement today. Or as Jim Price would opine, "Late movement."
