Can I just say preemptively that if Ohtani is on the gas, I don’t care and everyone should take the gas.

 

Sandy Alcantara misses today's start with bicep tendinitis.

They say it'll only be one start, but given his early troubles ... doesn't sound great.

 

I bet they just don’t want him pitching in the cold and rain in Cleveland.

I really enjoyed watching him and he had a great backstory. At least he got to bat in Yankee Stadium.

 

Another random baseball name drop on a TV show. On Single Drunk Female on Freeform, a guy told a coworker that his wife left him for a Yankee and when she asks who, he says Nestor Cortes.

 

Real bummer of a story. He looked like the best rookie catcher since...who, Posey? Hopefully he can make it all the way back.

 

Wasn't Rutschman a rookie last year?
