I'd say we need baggers, but those are union jobs, so may not fit with Tucker's agenda.

    Megyn Kelly is available.

Will Cain always seemed to be a reasonable conservative. That was in the Before Times when people weren’t attacking the Capitol. Haven’t heard him lately.

Fox does have Clay Travis on the payroll. To me that’s pretty much a no-brainer (in multiple senses of the word) hire.

Re: CNN: Barkley is good on TV three hours a week, and he has EJ, Kenny and Shaq to help. I get the sense he’d not be the best at doing an hour five nights a week, even with Gayle King kicking around.

Or maybe Whitlock’s regular appearances on Tucker’s show have been a tryout.

The Fox hosting slots could be filled by any white dude with a steady-state sense of outrage or chick willing to show enough leg.

It reminds me of the VJ gig back in the glory days of MTV. The VJs were passengers on the cultural zeitgeist bus while the videos drove it. The network was making bank but the VJs weren't making shit. The thought was, "Well if you don't like it, go somewhere else to be on television several hours a day and become famous."

The narrative is the product, not the talent.
