The pitcher's yelling, the first baseman's yelling and the poor kid hasn't a clue. The ball wasn't 24 inches away but it disappeared from his view. It's like those 3-D image things where everybody else can see the tiger but you're just looking at a series of colored dots. I sure hope the coach gave him a pep talk after the inning was over.
