Keep going, Seattle. What I wouldn't do to hear one more series-winning call from John Forslund.

    Release the Kraken.

Maybe it's because this Portland fan is still pissed Seattle's NBA team was stolen.
Maybe it's because the uniforms are just cool as shit looking.
Maybe it's that I think it's neat they've now repurposed the old Seattle Center Coliseum not once, but twice instead of building some generic palace somewhere else in town like every other city does.
Maybe it's because I've watched entirely too many Frasier reruns on Pluto.
But damn am I enjoying seeing this two-year-old team putting together this kind of season.

Impressive muscle memory win for the Islanders tonight. Prideful bunch. But I don't see them winning two more, though Friday night is going to be bonkers.

Incredible ending. The second Avalanche goal, shot from the top of the slot (by Rodriguez, I think) was deflected TWICE by Kraken players. The first one sent it 6-7 feet wide, but the second deflection sent it back on goal and in. Rodriguez also made a save on a blast by the Kraken with the goalie on the bench.

Not only that, but the go-ahead goal in the second period scored by the kid who was called up to replace McCann on the Seattle roster. First NHL game, he scores a key playoff goal.
