    Not sure how old some posters are around here, but I remember the late 1980s and early 1990s, when Midnight Oil was putting out its best music.

    Instead of songs like “Blue Sky Mine” and “Forgotten Years” (among many others) most radio stations were playing sh** like Starship, Tiffany, Ugly Kid Joe and Vanilla Ice.

    I went with the boys from Australia.

    There was a lot of good music being made in the late 80s/early 90s. Other than REM, not much of it was from America.

    The mid-90s did provide a good soundtrack moment that I was glad not to have to manufacture myself: The moment where they left Wakita and went offroad in "Twister."
