I'm guessing the casinos aren't fans of making it easy for people to hit a few places in one night -and prefer people stay in one place. Not a shock.

It was a 9-7 kind of day today, yet still broke even. And didn't get cancer.

They should be the Vegas Aces at this point.

The WNBA franchise has already trademarked that nickname, and I suspect Big Brother NBA will order them to keep hold of it in the event in a few years the NBA comes screeching in with a franchise, they'll just follow the lead of Euro sports clubs and have "Las Vegas Aces BC" for both men and women.

The Athletics will keep their nickname. They actually do have quite a bit of franchise history over the decades, even if it's really 25 good seasons scattered among 100 years of crap.

I went to a game in June of 2019 and figured I’d get field level seats for practically nothing. Nope, they were pricey. Ended up at the top of the stadium behind home plate and it was colder than any fall/winter football game I ever attended in SoCal.
On the plus side, it was really easy to get in and out using BART.

Isn't the Diamondbacks' AAA team in Reno called the Aces? Saw them in early May once ... it snowed.

Given that Mark Davis owns the LV Aces hoops team and has serious hatred for the A's owners - um, no dice. not happening.

You can. You just need a cab or Uber. The buildings are so massive they look closer than they are. And thanks to legalization, as soon as you step outside you’re inside a Cheech & Chong movie with all the smoke.

Yes. The name predates the WNBA franchise. Reno used to be the Silver Sox, can't remember when they changed but it was quite a while ago.

They were the Silver Sox in the California League at old Moana Ballpark, became the Aces when they got a PCL team.
