Gordon Lightfoot was a frequent visitor to the L.A. Kings postgame locker room. I met him there once, just shook hands and said hello. That was before Gretzky and before other Hollywood celebrities started showing up.

Also left out Mike Reno, although his leather pants from his 1980s heyday are remembered fondly by my wife. :) Not sure he could still squeeze into them.

Regarding Rush, I guess I was thinking of individual singers, songwriters, etc. and not groups.

No question they’re one of Canada’s best all time rock bands.

There were a few others back in the day. Susan St. James and her second husband had season tickets. Very "hippy" so they stood out in the lower section of The Forum. DB Sweeney was a Hollywood wannabe who was always around. He did a few low-rate movies, one of them was "Cutting Edge" which was skating oriented.

DB Sweeney was Joe Jackson in "Eight Men Out" and looked more like a baseball player than anyone I've ever seen in any baseball movie, even Charlie Sheen.
