Never heard of him, so it was straight to Wiki. Says his wife's name is Ashley Vachon. What the heck ... did the dude marry Rogie's daughter?

Based on what I can find he has three kids, none named Ashley.

This was done by the guy who used to produce those great intros for HNIC. That scrapbook is pretty damn cool.

Here's footage of Lightfoot on an early '60s show on CBC. Gee, I wonder whatever became of that interviewer.

She threw that speedball by him. Made him look like a fool, boy.

We're a few pages into a debate about the greatest Canadian musicians and I get zero results searching the thread for "Robertson" and only one lowercase result for "Band"? This is shameful.

I haven’t seen Neil Young mentioned, unless I missed it. Is he not considered Canadian?

    Coco's OP:

"I’m not Canadian, so my opinion isn’t golden here, but Gord definitely is on the Mount Rushmore of Canadian musical artists from the rock era.
Neil Young also is on there, and probably Joni Mitchell. Lots of other possibilities for the fourth spot …"

Robertson is a tough one; is he that superior to Rick Danko or Manuel? Did they even let him handle any vocals?
