The lineup they throw out there is atrocious and any starter without the last name Cole has an an ERA of four and a half or worse.

The next 24 games include 7 TB, 4 TOR, 3 SD, 3 BAL with 3 OAK, 3 CIN and a CLE mixed in. You don't win at least 5 of those last 7 and you are in big, big trouble, like staring 25-33 in the face at the end of the month with a trip to face the Dodgers to kick off June

They’ll be fine. Judge is only out another week.

I'm not sure it'll be that bad, but that's nowhere near a championship-caliber operation. Just stop. Outside of Judge and MAYBE Severino (who has thrown 120 innings since the start of 2019), no one there's even come close to sniffing a World Series in New York. Aaron Hicks was on the 2017 team but, well, yeah. It's befuddling to see Cashman increase his power as the Yankees get more and more mediocre.

May 1 marked the first time the Yankees and Cardinals have ever both been in sole possession of last place as late as that day. Ever. The only other time it happened, the Yankees were still the Highlanders.

    That's an outstanding stat.

Haven't really seen the Cardinals this year. The Yankees basically rolled out the same lineup as last year. Might end up being good enough to make the postseason. Maybe. The AL East sure looks like a monster.

If you call having your top HR hitters and 3/5ths of your starting rotation out injured bad, then yes.

Somebody in MLB will give him a job — or a shot at one — by the start of spring training 2024.

Don't be so sure. He was an unliked asshole long before everyone knew he was a violent sexual criminal. He might really be the one guy who's just not worth the fallout.
