I should introduce you to pool and billiards betting. It's basically an underground network of people/degenerates since they still haven't figured out a way to get it into a legal sports book since the Challenge of Champions fiasco of 1991. I believe Matchroom is working on it though.

So how exactly does the book know he is communicating with the Alabama coach?

Does the high res camera read
    ALABAMA BASEBALL COACH
    on his texts?

I’d assume the investigators matched up the timing on some phone records.

But they did it immediately. How do they have the records? I'd love to know the specs on this.

One subpoena of phone records. I suspect it would be quickly granted in a case like this.

He was using a school-issued phone?

Also interested in this - OK, understand the analytics "flagging the wager." I just don't know how the rest of it tracks. They make big announcement, so Bama launches own investigation and gets coach's phone records? A private wagering analytics firm has no subpeona power, or authority to get phone info. Don't even know if they can get phone info from customers without consent.

Weirdness prevailing in this weekend's San Diego State-San Jose State MW series. Games were scheduled up here in the midst of the winter storms, but shifted to San Diego. Only played one there then. So, the teams are playing five games this weekend, but, since San Jose shares its home field with the San Jose Giants, they're splitting up the games between Sunken Diamond at Stanford and Evans Diamond at Cal.

The casinos look out for themselves. Any casino will notice if betting is off.

The SEC is a client of the same integrity unit the casinos used to tip them off.

It just means more (felony charges). Maybe the most excitement they've had at The Dude all season.
