Both Tatis had two home run games against the same team, which is more rare, but probably not a first. Each Bonds played a lot against NL West teams, so they are likely to have done it.

They both had multi homers against the Dodgers. I was only looking at Bobby’s multi homer games. I’m sure Barry had a bunch against many teams. I just stopped looking when I got to LA.

Saw a good point on (forgive me) Twitter: Wouldn’t the show open normally be taped? If so, how does nobody call for a do over there?

We’re real close to the entire A.L. East having a better record than the Central leader.

    Divisions are stupid.

Seattle scored seven times with two outs and no one on in the eighth inning last night. I'm sure it's happened before but I've never seen it. Especially from the Mariners.

The Rangers scored 7 in the top of the ninth last night -- all with two outs. The only Angels error was a throwing error that didn't result in a run but allowed a runner to move up a base.

Peacock started that last season, I think.

It took three Goldschmidt homers and damn near a handful of Tigers errors, but the Cardinals finally won a game again after dropping their previous eight.

    Not sorry, @maumann.

Leading to all these bizarre 1:40 p.m. start times, like they’re a show on the Disney Channel in 1988.

Tough 1-2 weekend for Baltimore. Three quality games against an NL contender in the Braves' ballpark, though.

It's been a long time since Orioles fans could feel as good as they did Friday night when the O's pounced on Max Fried.
