This prerace is bullshit. I don't need Danica Patrick in a Tarzan dress riding around the Everglades in an airboat.

Now you have security boxing out Jackie Stewart to keep him away from Federer.

Jackie Stewart can go anywhere on the grid he dang well pleases.

Chase Briscoe's tire changer is going to have some explaining to do.
And I'm pretty sure if you're trying to make a lap on three tires, the penalty is the least of your concerns.

Oh look, it's Sunday. Means Ross Chastain pissed off another driver.
I think I'm with Chastain on this one, though. Gragson tries to pass him high and tight — when Chastain is running in the top five and Gragson is five laps down, no less — and gets pissed that he's squeezed into the fence? C'mon, man. Looks like all Chastain did was hold his line.

My favorite part of a NASCAR scrap: the security guy just standing there until the first blow is landed, thereby securing the viral clip.

It's good to see Jerry Springer's former security team still working, though.

That’s the first time anyone has confronted Chastain in the last year-plus. Gragson seems like the ultimate toolbag, but gotta admire a rookie for doing something that should’ve been done long ago. Would love to see what would’ve happened if Chastain shoved Rusty or Jimmy Spencer into a wall. Hell, even Ricky Rudd or Geoff Bodine.

Great save by Larson on that last lap after hitting the wall twice. He’s his generation’s best driver, no question. I’m looking forward to see what he’ll do at Indy next year.

Last thing: That was a rookie mistake by Gibbs trying to haul the mail back to the pits. He tore up the car in the process after avoiding a hard hit. Take your time and get it back to the pits without tearing up the left front and dropping all sorts of debris, and maybe you’re just fine.

Gragson was five laps down. WTF was he even doing?

Somebody might need to hit Chastain, but Noah Gragson five laps down wasn’t it. He should’ve been hurrying to get out of everybody else’s way. I can think of a bunch of guys we all know of who would’ve planted Gragson in the wall, then planted him on pit road after the race.

It didn't even look like Chastain tried to put him in the wall. Unless he drove too hard into the corner when he should have let Gragson get around? It looked more like Gragson put himself into the wall and Chastain gave him, if not plenty of room, at least enough to let him get off it without making it worse.

Stopping these fights is BS. Let them fight for a few minutes like in the NHL. Meh.

Sir Jackie is from the same part of Scotland as my old man was. (The old man was a couple years older but knew Jackie a little bit as Jackie's father owned a gas station the old man frequented.) They were/are stubborn Scotsmen who don't take no for answer nor do they appreciate being manhandled.
