I don’t think there’s much argument against the notion that climate change activism leverages the many people live by a credo of “freedom, so long as you don’t harm others.”

Climate change activism then keeps an ever longer list of harmful behaviors, linking them to not only eventual total collapse but, in the interim, most weather disasters.

Again, it’s an effective, unified theory and approach. If I like my gas stove, I’m killing the planet a little bit. If I balk at the idea of electric vehicles, I’m killing the planet a little bit. Plastic bags, the planet.

People want to be good. The climate change activist’s list for what constitutes being good is getting longer.
