    Right. For the sake of comedy, I'm noting that this play is at best really really stupid (playing a stem that could complete a two-way triple word score) and is almost certainly illegal either by SA or by playing in two directions.

    BTW, "Word Freak" by Stefan Fatsis is a great book.
