Elon was good at the beginning, then he went too far.

If he sleeps as little as he claims, he is going insane.

In 2021, as chair of the Ad Council she partnered wiht the Biden Administration to create an advertising campaign for the Cvoid-19 vaccine that featured Pope Francis.

She seems like a socialist and a papist who is under the thumb of Tony Fauci.

I only scrolled through like her last 20 tweets, but I saw nothing MAGA there, and MAGA folk can’t go two hours without tweeting about their Lord and savior.

It is career suicide to work for Musk unless she got a crapload of money up front.

Yaccarino's political views have no bearing on her competence as an ad salesperson, which clearly is the position Musk hired her for. She's going to have to be a hell of a salesperson, because her main pitch has to be "ignore my boss, we're good for your brand."

PS: The wackadoos on Twitter Musk has been cultivating are losing their shit completely after discovering Yaccarino was a member of the World Economic Forum, one of their "this completely boring organization actually rules the world" targets.

By all accounts she's really good.

To me, the most notable thing is that he hired someone with an advertising background. His whole BS -- and the only rationale for how he could ever actually live up to the insane price he paid for the company -- was that he had some grand vision for Twitter that turns it into a subscription-based, multiple-sources-of-revenue "everything" app of some sort that doesn't rely on advertising.

But then he came in and drove away all of the advertising it actually had -- which was its only revenue -- while flailing around to find other revenue sources that don't exist. And apparently he realizes that advertising is the only revenue that the platform can realistically rely on. If that is the case, though, he's completely fucked, because take Twitter's peak ad revenue from before he bought the company, and if she can match it, it still doesn't provide enough cash flow for Musk to make the interest payments on the leveraged loans he saddled the company with in order to way overpay for it. It leaves him reaching into his own pocket to keep the lights on. To me, this hire demonstrates how fucked he is.

She appears to be very good at what she does. But not sure how much ANYONE can do for Twitter at this point. It's toxic, and I don't see how it's going to get better/more appealing to advertisers.

I just became aware of the animal torture stuff. Thankfully I have not seen it. And that's pretty much it for me for using it.
