The only thing I know about White Sands is that was the place that the kids from Space Camp landed the Space Shuttle.

As a 13-year-old, I absolutely adored Kelly Preston.

He looks like a pathetic incel who’s stuck in mom’s basement.

Remember when the mom’s basement types were merely bloggers, not women-hating insurrectionists? Those were the days.

Should we be inclined? Doesn’t the right have to apologize and repent first? (I’m not being facetious I think that’s what’ll take.)

I don’t need an apology. I need them to not be batshit crazy.

Brown & Root, the precursor to Haliburton (I think) built a lot of NASA stuff. They were a big and early LBJ supporter.

You can never go wrong in politics by following the money.

Had Challenger not blown up, we were probably less than a year from seeing launches to polar orbit from Vandenberg. As it was there was some sort of technical reason that they needed to make even thinner casings for the SRBs that launched from there, and they gave up on it. Mike Mullane wrote about it in his very good autobiography.

They landed the real thing there once. STS-3, I believe. Landing strip at KSC wasn’t built yet and the lake bed at Edwards was flooded.

Wouldn't the latter naturally include the former? Behaviors accompany attitude shifts.
