Biggest laugh of the episode for me was “Starkey, party of four. Fab Four.”

    The accent was PERFECT.

I will say it would have been even funnier to me if they had made it a little more subtle by leaving out the “Fab Four” part.

The Rojas Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing was silly.

On the flip side, I agree that the Kent-Tartt Arc™ might be the best character development in 3 years.

Roy's niece is SO charmingly cute, funny and thoughtful. Uncle Roy can only curmudgeon so much around her!

I guess it was supposed to show the difference one feels playing for their country as opposed to their club. Danny has basically been written like Amelia Bedilia this season, so the difference was especially jarring.

Something I thought several weeks ago seems to be playing out ... "there's no place like home" ... and the finale will be the most wizard of ozziest ever.

When the time comes for the Oasis biopic, and it will come, only one person can play Liam Gallagher: Phil Dunster.

While I did enjoy Beard's forgiveness monologue, just not at all thrilled with Nate Shelley's arc.

That was good and explained perfectly why that character was over it. Explaining why the rest of them are has been piss poor, as has explaining the subjects motives

Very good episode, if super on the nose and over the top with the callbacks.

    Best episode of the series.

All the predictions are coming true. But so what. Everything so well executed this episode. And it was actually funny for a change.

Mama Lasso was a total deux ex machina. Becky Ann Baker is so good in such a role it doesn’t even matter. Ted dropping the f-yous on her was tremendous. Finally see him break character in a sense. No one can be that cornpone perfect.

Jack and Bex clearly joining forces to buy Richmond from Rebecca so she will be free to move to America with Ted. Hannah Waddingham has never looked hotter.

Roy Kent bares his heart. This show doesn’t demolish its characters, so he and Keeley will probably get engaged in the finale — if not a quickie wedding — because Jamie will be fine with it but Roy would do nothing but grunt for two years if they don’t wind up together. He’ll get the girl, the team, and Nate as his assistant.

The ridiculous sports ending to the game with Man City was well-earned for Jamie. Sports shows and movies are filled with such events; this one did it without much eye-rolling.

So Nate doesn’t wind up a villain. What did he really do? Not like he stole a loaf of meth and a friend’s care and spend time in prison. If Ted can drop f bombs on his mom, Nate can be mean to them and get away with it.

    Bravo to this week’s work.
