There's no agreement on how to reach a deal on the debt limit, so 35 House Republicans added to their list of demands.

Tough shit, Kevin. You wanted the job. You wore out your kneepads and your dealmaking pen to get it. Enjoy the ride.

What was the line about Giullani's failed presidential campaign? "Noun, verb, 9/11" right?

DeSantis seems incapable of saying two sentences in a row without "woke." Sweet Jeebus, I know it plays to the base, but it's become ridiculous.

This is a really good point. Related: People who are naturalized American citizens are, quite often, more knowledgeable about American history, and, usually, much more appreciative of their U.S. citizenship than are native-born ones.

Schwarznegger would've been a far better president than Trump, and he would've had enough oomph to overcome the Trumpistas.

Absolutely. My late father taught a citizenship class for several years and the students had to demonstrate an understanding of the Constitution and how government works that Id venture to say most natural-born citizens dont possess, mainly because they’re not forced to learn.

Like the Constitution aint that long; it should be a compulsory high school class. Would curb people’s rampant tendency to mistakenly declare that things they simply dont agree with are unconstitutional.
