I have seen the Jeopardy response being that if the incorrect spelling affects the pronunciation, then they will call it incorrect (Ben wrote Benedict instead of Benedick). BTW, there is no frigging way that Mayim got that ruling correctly without either re-taping, or heavy counsel from the judges. She is terrible.

Ben was 9-0 with 9 runaways. He was really good.

He was a little iffy his last 2 wins, even if they were runaways. And I assume that Mayim was told that Benedict was a wrong response before.

Why is Mayim still on that show? She’s amazingly stiff. The game is serious, but Ken also knows when to lighten it up. Also, he has to have the best career arc of any breakout game show/reality TV guy. No drama, no arrests, his face isn’t totally punchable.

I don’t hate Bialik, but Ken has become a great host. To a point that I forget he hasn’t been hosting the show for a decade.

I was very skeptical of Ken at first. Doing TV is really hard, and the notion of a guy being a suitable host simply because he was good at the game seemed ridiculous to me.

He's great at it. And I think Mayim is genuinely bad at it. Not sure why they're still juggling both.

I caught up on this week's show and what an embarrassment. The woman wins with less than $6,000. One episode, they were halfway through the first round and 2 players were in the red and the third had $0.00. The lady who won the last two nights plays Final Jeopardy to not lose and screwed up a Double Jeopardy bet. In the lead, she bet enough that she would be behind the the guy in second place if she lost, but not be more than double that guy if she was correct. And for two straight games the person in last place bet all but $1 in Final Jeopardy. You should bet a figure that would put you in first if everyone gets it wrong and the leader bet just enough to stay ahead of second place doubling up.

Yeah, there was some mediocre quality and gameplay this week.

Can't remember the last time I saw someone in the negative and in last place entering Double Jeopardy win like yesterday. Night and day between the two rounds, and lucky to stumble upon all three Daily Doubles, even if he only got one correct for $2000.

The last few nights have been abysmal.

The female contestant from last night who made it to final jeopardy with $100 seemed so flustered that she was about to cry all night.

The current three-day champion has made a shade over $21,000 in three wins. I've seen more made in the first round of a single game. He seems legitimately embarrassed that he's only getting through because he's the least bad of the contestants on a given night.
