2023 college baseball/softball thread

    The "past" being all of one year as this is only the second Pac-8/9 baseball tournament. Canzano had a good story about it this week.

    The SEC has it as well. They added it in 2019.

    Mountain West update: San Jose State defeats Air Force 7-5 to force the if game. 1 p.m. PDT Sunday.

    I was at a BC regular season game a few years ago and there was video review. I don't think the game was broadcast, but there were a few cameras.

    Most games, even D-II and junior college games, are at least streamed on some sort of in-house network nowadays. You'd be amazed at how many games ESPN+ picks up.

    Pac 12 tourney: Oregon claims tourney title with 6-4 win over Arizona.
    Big West: Fullerton and Northridge tied for second behind UC Sam Diego, but the Titans will get the Big West's automatic bid.

    Arizona was 12-18 in conference play. Tournament performance aside, a team that finishes .400 in league play does not deserve to play in postseason. IMHO, of course, as an old man who shakes his fist at clouds.
