Thanks to W and Dick Cheney, we have the technology to trace their calls, despite the Caller ID spoofing. My suspicion is it's a one-way street. Drag queens aren't calling Tractor Supply Co. with bomb threats (well, maybe glitter bomb )

 

Ohio banned August elections. Then the GOP planned one that could help preserve an abortion ban.

 

That worked great last August in Kansas.

 

That was a good response by North Face. (I liked the name Pattie Gonia, by the way -- perfect!). I would still maintain that facing down verbal backlash -- even from constant shrillers like MTG and Lauren Boebert -- is more easily decided and done than dealing with actual in-store safety threats, though. And this country, and specifically, it's political environment right now, is what has emboldened extremists. Like much of the GOP agenda lately, it all seems almost performative, as if these destructive, intolerant, intransigent views and resulting actions aren't even actually originating from deeply within the "actors."

It's like people are trying so hard to let people know their displeasure with the things they disagree with that there can't possibly be any tolerance or any meeting in the middle or any just living and letting live, or agreeing to disagree but managing to co-exist anyway. Which is all really unrealistic and unsustainable in a country with as many people -- types of people -- as there are in the U.S.

 

This election would change the percentage needed to change the Ohio Constitution to 60%. Of course, it will only take 50%+1 to approve the change.

It's a total sham and scam.
