Music Thread (post a song)

Another run to Albany X, windows down, volume up, 1st Wave 33 ... on comes The Cult.

Of all the massive bands in my wheelhouse of music, The Cult is the one I never got into or ever will. It's not that they're bad but they do nothing for me.

 

There was a summer there where this was the shit.

 

Solidly there with you. In the general ballpark of bands I loved, but The Cult never did it for me at all.

Same thing with Gene Loves Jezebel. Heard them on 1st Wave the other day. Still a hard pass.

 

I never got into The Cult either but man She Sells Sanctuary still kicks all kinds of ass. I always crank that one

 

I go straight to 8 or 9 for a few minutes while She Sells Sanctuary comes on 33. Richard Blade has a boner for that song.

 

Probably would make my top ten of all-time favorite songs. Love that tune.

I saw Cray a couple months ago at a small theatre here in the Toronto burbs. Voice and playing were still great.

 

This is incredible. The attention to detail....amazing. The music, the costumes, the sideburns on Ray Manzarek!

 

My neighbour told me with disgust they emphasised twice the new Taylor Swift album was "punk" she's gone "punk"

Big country fan, loves them some Luke Bryan.

Fuck me, I live next door to these people.
