Memorable Lyrics

As much as I admired the Boss, every time I hear “Hungry Heart” I can’t get over that he sings about just abandoning his wife and kids.

“I took a turn and never went back….”

Always bugged me.


As for a favorite, I love Seger’s Against the Wind:

I don't know why it sticks out to me every time I hear it but in Sister Golden Hair the line

Seger is sorely underrated. He should be as big as Springsteen. The penultimate verse of "The Fire Inside" is an absolute killer.
