Change of scenary for Provorov. With Werenski on the first pair, less pressure on him to be the man. That could work out nicely for Columbus, provided Babcock doesn't ask him to make a list of the hardest workers on the team.

I remember the first time passing the $50 threshold for parking and blanching back in the aughts. I’ve done $75, but that was literally being feet away from an NFL stadium and having space to tailgate. I’ve yet to ever pay $100. That one will be a hard pill to swallow the first time.

I’ve been a passenger with a friend who insisted on the $90 spot for the Iron Bowl a block or two west of Bryant-Denny. Personally the $2 round trip shuttle bus from downtown suits my needs.

I remember when I thought $10 for parking was highway robbery.

I have $7.50 parking receipts from Yankee Stadium. It's now $45, I believe, and higher in the playoffs.

A few years ago, the Ducks had four home games one week and my first thought was "I'm going to have to pay $60 to park this week." This past season it was $20/game. Don't know yet about next season.

Perhaps the only good thing about the financial collapse of 2008-2009 was Chicago hotels waiving the $50 per night parking fee.

In other NHL broadcasting news, St. Louis television analyst Darren Pang is leaving to take a similar job with Chicago, the team he once played for.
