This is what happens when qualified legal minds are elevated to the Supreme Court. Coney Barrett should be her housecleaner.

So Alabama, ok, but what does this mean for North Carolina? Isn’t that map gerrymandered and the target of lawsuits?

 

I think that’s just regular ole political gerrymandering. But South Carolina and Louisiana could each have to flip an additional district to majority-minority under this precedent. And Texas may have a whole lot of redrawing ahead.
