Yes, you're right - the night before my senior prom. I remember being riveted to the TV. June 17, I think? Edit: Thanks, MileHigh.

The vision of 100 cop cars following a golf cart down I-95 is very appealing.

Always a good sign when the defendant’s legal team quits after seeing the indictment.

That was the Friday night before my high school graduation party. A friend who was a year older than me had traveled into Pittsburgh for it and we went to a restaurant/jazz club for dinner (yeah, I know I was 70 when I was 17. Thanks for noticing). The club was on the third floor and had no television and a wing and beer joint occupied the ground floor and did. As we were leaving the bar was packed eight deep with people spilling onto the walkway, all looking at the TV. We assumed the Knicks-Rockets game had some insane ending and then saw the Bronco. Not being able to really see the TV, we ran to the parking lot, jumped in my 1987 Mercury Cougar and turned the Jim Bohannon Show on AM to listen to what was happening.

", , , and a firm to be named later."

The firm is probably waiting on "cash considerations," which will never come.

Yes, the general rule is no cameras. The presiding judge has discretion to allow cameras, but outside of that trial program, it hasn't happened.

I think that for this case, the benefit to the public interest and the interest of transparency of having a live telecast of the trial greatly outweighs any other concerns. But we'll see.

No way will there be TV cameras. Maybe a couple of pool stills, but that would even surprise me.

I always found everyone who wasn’t in NYC or D.C. wanting to tell you what they were doing on 9/11 distasteful in some grief-eating sort of way.

But I LOVE hearing what people were doing on the night of the O.J. chase. It was my favorite “30 for 30” and the answers are so varied that it’s a wonderful slice of life story.
