Either he hasn’t paid them, he fired them or they don’t want to deal with him as a client. This is the type of a case which a lawyer loves — high profile and with interesting issues.

How many lawyers has he hired and fired over the last eight years? I hope someone has a list somewhere.

I was an absolutely rabid Knicks fan and was so excited to watch that game. I was also in a long distance relationship which was going through a significant rough patch (and which ended badly). So at the last minute , I went to Philly for the weekend where my girlfriend was and we watched the game in a bar. We got into an argument and went back to her apartment where I turned on the game. But instead of continuing the fight, we were fascinated by the chase and we sort of half made up. I did hear the prank call on ABC because I was disgusted with NBC for not focusing on the game.

He has a long history of not paying his lawyers and threading to sue them for malpractice. He’s also unmanageable as a client, especially since social media has exploded. Leads to a lot of lawyer churn.

I checked. No NBA game on Tuesday. The Panthers are playing on Tuesday, but the game is in Vegas.

Was in Iowa City during the chase. Was getting stoned and recording all of the news stations on a VHS tape. Really wish I had that tape.

Hey now - I was in Arkansas on 9/11 .... badly trying to get ahold of my dad, who was working at the Pentagon that day.

But but but The Deep State!
This fucking clown of a jurist was overturned on appeal in the investigative phase of this matter by an appellate panel. But this is different. There is literally nothing preventing her from letting her boy walk.
    * Defense moves for a directed verdict as soon as the government rests. Case dismissed. Jeopardy attached. Game over.
    * Every motion to suppress evidence? Granted.
    * If it gets that far, judge issues instructions that make conviction impossible.

What would she fear? Impeachment and removal? No chance.
She'll be a heroine. She can retire and make millions on the Trumpist lecture circuit.

Oh, I was painting with a very wide brush. I just got sick of living in Ohio and having people very seriously telling me what period of high school they were in and crying as they told me the plane was 400 miles from flying over their school, how their lives would never be the same all while there were people running for their lives in the streets, people whose husbands and wives were running into collapsing buildings, etc.

The next few years were a bunch of people who lived thousands of miles away angrily singing Toby Keith songs and beating the drums of war while the actual people who were there and who were digging through the rubble couldn’t get any support.

It was the precursor to Trumpism.

If my neighbor’s house three doors down burns and I see them run out of their house, I don’t dare start telling them about how scary it was for me, even if it was. It always rubbed me the wrong way.
