Look at that DeSantis flag. It's the exact same design as the Trump flags. He can't even be original with that.

Of course, that's what I think his goal is. Just be in place and at the ready if Trump can't run.

So if I heard the Dana Bash interview with Gym Jordan correctly, he's for the "rule of law" against 2020 protestors, but not for Trump keeping classified documents in the john?

But this is exactly why i think Biden can beat anyone the GOP puts up. If it’s trump, it’s no worst than 2020. But every other candidate except Christie and maybe Romney is stained by the Trump smell.
Those two also are probably the only ones (ironically trump would be the third one) who aren’t 100 percent opposite 60 percent of the country, probably more, on the wrong side of the abortion fight. And thats going to matter a lot also, that fight is far from over.
The numbers, and logic, are very much against whoever the GOP puts up. If by some miracle it’s some anti-trump, at least some of the MAGAs are going to stay home or go third party.
I know, its still a long way off.

With the Calvinists? The total depravity folks?

No. Not just because Max Weber once said so, either.

Dear Dana, raise your fucking voice and shut them up when the spout their dogshit.

It's not that fucking hard. Can a single fucking person at CNN step up to the plate?

To be fair, 99-percent of the Trump merch was bootlegged. Those dudes selling them along the side of the road weren’t paying licensing fees. I’m sure it’s the same for DeSantis.

I think you're right about that.

The other thing I struggle with is the casualness with which people are holding up Nazi flags, and really, probably pretending that they believe in, espouse and actually openly support such a philosophy, or such actions. It tells me that they really know nothing of such things. Not really. And, although you can't see the people in the video real clearly, the fact that most of them keep their faces covered tells me that they know what they're doing is wrong, and they're cowards who are afraid to show themselves because they know it's wrong.

You're in the U.S. Outside Disney World, no matter how much you think you're against any corporate BS, or the espoused, too-liberal-for-you beliefs of Disney World. You are not in Nazi Germany. What you're doing is performative and provocative, and you know it.

It's why, if for no other reason, I wish the law here could "come for them," like the Nazis actually did for Jews, and many others, too. Just to give them a little bit of a sense of what someone actually "coming for you" without any care or compromise might feel like. Where, to the fullest extent, they don't matter. Like, for real. Because that's what their Nazi flag means, but luckily for them, it's not what being here in the U.S., being allowed to stand on a corner outside Disney World, means.

Many of us are from a generation where if we came home from school - even in the heart of Confederate flag country - and had drawn a swastika on a notebook or something, our parents or grandparents would have beaten the piss out of us.

Once again, if the Greatest Generation was still up and around, people waving Nazi flags at organized rallies would catch gunfire.

Even the children of the GGs, the Generation Jonesers or late boomers like me, are pushing 60-70 so rumbling with rednecks on the streets isn't very feasible.
