Better than anyone in the NL Central, apparently. And the Mets.

Stupid shit absolutely nobody ever fucking asked for: Mic'ing up a catcher during an actual game. Let's see how fun this is if Trevino takes a foul tip in the nuts and says the seven words you can't say on television.

Five in a row! Of course anyone playing well - Brent Rooker? - will be traded for 20 pieces of silver.

With this five-game winning streak, the A’s are on pace to win 41 games. They went on a five-game winning streak after starting the season 12-50. I’m not sure I remember a team in my lifetime ever having been 12-50.

A's have won nearly half as many games in the past six days as they won in the previous 68 days.

It's really fucking hard to lose 120 games! Seriously, just one decent week can ruin it. The Tigers were going to shatter the Mets' record before they ended the season by winning five of their last six.

Gunnar's shot is the farthest any LHB has hit a ball at Camden Yards since at least 2007 (ie in the StatCast/Pitch Track era).

I remember being told that trading Trey Mancini last year was going really hurt this team,

Even the dog ass 1988 Orioles -- who started 0-21 -- got to 18 wins before losing their 50th.
