Finally getting rid of brand-specific titles.

 

Just watched the Magnum TA episode of Dark Side and you know, this was one with a "happy" ending, despite what happened to him he seems pretty well-adjusted. I remember that epic feud he had with Nikita, that was great. I was a huge Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin fan, can't believe these days he looks like the guy who runs the Subaru dealership where my wife takes the car.

 

Finn Balor trying to cut that promo while the fans kept singing was just painful to watch.

 

With the men's MITB seemingly set, gotta believe it'll be either Priest or Knight.

Shinsuke has had his time to shine, Ricochet is there as the high-flyer. Butch is the hometown kid, but I don't think they're ready to strap that rocket to him. Same with Santos.

I could see Priest winning and getting excommunicated from Judgment Day to cement a face turn -- especially if Finn beats Seth for the belt (with help from McDonagh?). The promos with Knight on the case would be gold.

 

Now that Logan Paul is returning, I could see him big-timing his way into MITB. He keeps Ricochet from winning to play into their highlight moment at Rumble, and that's the SummerSlam match.

I semi-recall he beat someone else with that move, like, a year or two ago, but I don’t remember who.

Always thought it was a cool move.

 

Yeah, saw it too. It wasn’t bad. It’s funny to see Nikita talk like a regular guy and then speak with the Russian accent.

One thing that they didn’t mention, naturally, was Magnum’s current wife is the ex-wife of Tully Blanchard.

 

AJ Styles, which is funny bc I remember hearing an interview with AJ where he said its important for the set up moves to win from time to time.

With Sami its just the SHOCK on his face every time someone kicks out of the thunder bomb. Its almost a meme. Hes so good

 

Yeah the Nikita thing was amusing, there's a guy who has kept his gimmick

 

Another ref running in to correct an injustice in the ring? I never thought I'd ever see it.
