Breaking down the Special Olympics long enough to then make an educated bet on it seems like the kind of thing that should make you evaluate your life choices.

And how would you like to be the poor bastard at BetOnline.ag who got tasked with having to come up with the odds for those events?
"Hey Kyle, let me see you in my office for a minute. I have an exciting new assignment for you."
"Awesome, boss. What is it? Some new props for football season? Working on NBA futures?"
    "Not exactly ..."

I'm not a sharp like exmediahack and I don't seek angles. I'm going to blow my last few hundred. Any advice?

Maybe exmediahack should start a hedge fuy.

If Wake Forest makes it past Monday in Omaha, I love the idea of taking them on the money line, as they have the power hitting to decimate some poor No. 3 starter.

Do they have first-half total markets for Special Olympics basketball? I’ll take under. I don’t care what the juice is.

Perhaps a long-term play where you can have a rooting interest for the NFL season? Or college football? I love win totals.

If you just want to make money, split your last few hundred into 30 parts and bet NFL wide receiver yardage totals under. Those hit about 68%. Better than NASDAQ and far more exciting.

I made fan bets on teams making the playoffs or more. Only one of them looks good.

I wish I didn’t have these pesky scruples about stealing money from people who are begging to be robbed.

Loving FanDuel's Friday strikeout special. Took Bryan Woo at +2800 a few weeks ago, Griffin Canning at +2800 a couple weeks ago and Aaron Civale tonite. Three winners!

I'm essentially taking three months off of betting after losing the last of my modest nut back in May. Will come back for football season, because I enjoy betting it. Baseball is too chaotic to win with any consistency. Was a bit worn out on it but I'm kind of excited to get back into it later next month. Should be refreshed.

Played some dealer blackjack at the casino over the weekend. The amount of times I heard someone say "unbelievable" was, well, unbelievable. Dealers draw to 21 to beat 20s all the time, they make a hand on 16, your double down on 11 gets you a 14 quite often. None of it is really unbelievable.

My favorite was the guy complaining after losing a hand that whatever happened was unbelievable, it happens every time! Buddy, it wouldn't be unbelievable if it happened every time.

You can't seriously bet daily major league baseball for anything more than shits and giggles. Even the A's take two out of three occasionally. If you're going to bet it, you're probably better off going with series odds and futures.
I hit a $5 MLB five-teamer a couple of weeks ago for a $99 payout — I pretty much guessed five teams — and it felt like I hit a jackpot on a lottery scratch-off. It'll make a nice nest egg for football season.
